Oggi con rammarico ho letto la notizia che ad Eluana Englaro, da alcuni anni in coma, verranno staccati i tubi che la alimentano e che di fatto ne permettono di espletare le funzioni fisiologiche. A mio avviso non è importante essere di destra o di sinistra, ne tanto meno cattolici o ebrei per condannare una simile decisione che va contro ogni parere medico. Eluana di fatto è viva; il suo corpo funziona (respira da sola, il suo cuore batte), il suo cervello pure, non ostante tutto la si vuole fare morire di fame e di sete, soffrendo peggio di un animale, vedendola spegnere a poco a poco, un tanto ogni istante.
